British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce Directory: Celebrating Malaysia’s 50th Anniversary 1957~2007 is a special commemorative publication produced on behalf of the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce, to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Malaysia’s nationhood, and features forewords by the Malaysian Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Bin Haji Ahmad Badawi and UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

Produced in outsized A4 hard and soft back editions, this special book title celebrates 50 years since the announcement of Malaysia’s Independence from Britain on 31st August 1957 and documents the great strides Malaysia has made since then, examining its current economic success and its prospects for the foreseeable future, whilst highlighting the significant contribution of the still strong British-Malaysian relationship and our trading ties.
